Tesla's Extended Free Fuel Campaign
Tesla is excited to announce an extension of its highly acclaimed "Free Fuel for Three Years" campaign. Originally launched on April 1, 2026, this offer is designed for new Tesla vehicles, specifically the Model 3 and Model Y, allowing customers to enjoy the benefits of free charging until the extended deadline of July 31, 2026.
With rising fuel prices impacting consumers nationwide, this campaign offers significant economic advantages, effectively making fuel costs negligible for three years. Tesla owners can utilize the company’s extensive fast-charging network, which includes 148 locations and 734 Superchargers as of the end of May 2026. This extensive network is designed to enhance convenience for electric vehicle (EV) users, ensuring they can charge easily wherever they go.
Conditions of the Campaign
To qualify for this campaign, customers must purchase their Tesla Model 3 or Model Y between April 1 and June 30, 2026, and complete vehicle delivery by July 31, 2026. Note that the Model Y Long Range is only eligible for deliveries made by June 30, 2026.
The estimated savings in fuel costs when compared to gasoline vehicles can amount to hundreds of thousands of yen over three years. This substantial financial benefit enhances the economic appeal of switching to Tesla’s electric vehicles. For instance, assuming an annual driving distance of 10,000 km, the fuel costs estimated can be dramatically reduced.
Additional Subsidies Available
In addition to the free fuel campaign, current new car buyers can benefit from a top-tier government subsidy for imported electric vehicles, amounting to 1.27 million yen. Local governments may also provide additional bonuses and grants, further amplifying the financial incentives. For instance, a customer residing in Koto City, Tokyo, who purchases a Model 3 with a base price of 5,313,000 yen may derive substantial financial benefits when combining the national subsidy with local incentives, potentially lowering their effective vehicle cost to below 3,143,000 yen.
With fuel costs on the rise, now is the perfect time to own a Tesla, where you can enjoy three years of unlimited charging bliss.
