STS Ski Academy for Beginners: A Fun Skiing Experience
As winter approaches, many families are looking for fun and engaging ways to keep their children entertained. The STS Ski Academy, organized by Plus One Education, a subsidiary of Riso Education Group based in Tokyo, has just the solution! Scheduled for November 9 and November 24, this exciting day trip program is tailored for beginners, providing a full day of skiing at an indoor ski resort, all while avoiding the unpredictability of weather conditions.
Why Choose the STS Ski Academy?
The STS Ski Academy is designed with first-time skiers in mind, ensuring a supportive and enjoyable environment where kids can learn the basics of skiing. Here are three standout features of the program:
1. Comprehensive Support for First-Time Skiers
For many children, the thought of skiing can be daunting. The STS Ski Academy adopts a gentle approach, starting with essential skills like how to put on skiing equipment and wear appropriate clothing. The aim is to enable young skiers to stop using the 'pizza' technique, building their ability and confidence step by step. Each year, numerous children take their first steps on skis through this program, making it an excellent opportunity for kids who want to explore skiing in a welcoming environment.
2. Hassle-Free Rental of Ski Equipment
The event takes place at Sayama Ski Resort near Belluna Dome in Saitama. A significant advantage of joining the STS Ski Academy is the availability of ski gear rentals. Participants do not need to carry heavy equipment, as all necessary items such as skis, clothing, and boots are provided. This makes it easy for children to focus on having fun rather than worrying about the logistics of ski gear.
3. Continuous Learning for Improvement
The STS Ski Academy is not just a one-time event; it will be held multiple times throughout the winter season. The indoor setting allows for consistent practice, regardless of weather changes, helping kids enhance their skills over time. As they continue to attend, they will accumulate skills and experience the joy of making progress, which can be incredibly motivating for young learners.
