AJAA and The Digital WOW Collaborate to Support Atlantic JROTC Cadets at 2025 Military Ball
The recent Military Ball on December 19, 2025, witnessed a heartfelt collaboration between the Atlantic JROTC Alumni Association (AJAA) and The Digital WOW, bringing together a vibrant community of cadets, alumni, and faculty. This annual event, synonymous with military pride and camaraderie, serves as the highlight for many within the Atlantic JROTC program at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida.
The Military Ball is much more than just a dance; it reflects military customs and traditions, offering a formal introduction to the military world for cadets, particularly the younger participants. Accompanied by dates, these cadets navigate the evening with a blend of excitement and reverence, enjoying a taste of the formalities that accompany military traditions. The significance of the event is underscored by its popularity, drawing hundreds of attendees, including current cadets, alumni from various graduating classes, esteemed faculty, and distinguished guests.
Louis Cordero, the president of AJAA and a proud graduate of the program, expressed the organization’s commitment to sustaining this tradition.
"Each year, the AJAA seeks to support the Atlantic JROTC program, which has fostered countless leaders and contributors in our community. By sponsoring an alumni table at the Military Ball, we create a sense of reunion for former members to reconnect and enrich this tradition together—reliving the cherished memories of our days as cadets," noted Cordero.
In a show of solidarity and commitment, The Digital WOW, under the leadership of CEO Paul Ramkissoon, took their support a step further by sponsoring two tables at the event. One table was designated for alumni attendees, while the other provided assistance for cadets in need. This move ensures that every cadet has an opportunity to participate in this significant event and experience the memories that come with it.
Ramkissoon articulated his sentiments regarding this collaboration: "Working alongside AJAA to support the Military Ball is always an honor. We aim to facilitate connections among alumni while ensuring that no cadet misses out on this remarkable occasion due to financial constraints. Our commitment will continue year after year, fortifying our investment in the future leaders of our nation."
Formed to create a lasting bond between past cadets and the current program, AJAA engages alumni through various networking opportunities and events. The importance of maintaining this connection is manifested through their welcoming attitude towards all former cadets from the first class in 1985 to recent graduates. Membership remains free, further encouraging participation and community among alumni.
Social media has played a pivotal role in maintaining this sense of community, with AJAA actively engaging its members on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. These channels not only facilitate communication but also highlight the ongoing contributions of alumni to the Atlantic JROTC program, which remains a cornerstone of character development and leadership training at Atlantic High School.
The Military Ball stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the Atlantic JROTC, rooted in values of respect, loyalty, and leadership. It showcases the commitment of organizations like AJAA and The Digital WOW to enrich the lives of both current and former cadets. As the Atlantic JROTC program continues to evolve, its legacy thrives on the support of passionate individuals dedicated to fostering growth, unity, and pride among its members. Moving forward, both AJAA and The Digital WOW remain devoted to nurturing this distinguished tradition, ensuring that each cadet’s journey is celebrated and that their contributions to the community continue to resonate for years to come.
