A Unique Experience Awaits in Osaka and Ishikawa
This fall, H.I.S. Hotel Holdings is inviting travelers to embrace the wonders of animal-themed stays and seasonal culinary delights. The renowned ventures in Osaka and Ishikawa are rolling out two unique offerings that highlight the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Japan.
Explore the Atlanta of Osaka: Animal Rooms Collaboration
Starting September 29, the Henn na Hotel chain in Osaka, including Henn na Hotel Osaka Namba and Henn na Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi, has teamed up with the Tennoji Zoo to unveil their exclusive “Animal Rooms.” Celebrating the zoo’s 110th anniversary, the hotels offer meticulously designed spaces that mirror the ecological exhibits found within the zoo.
Guests at Henn na Hotel Osaka Namba can enjoy the “Penguin Park & Sea Lion Wharf” themed room, while those staying at Henn na Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi will be immersed in the “African Savanna” atmosphere. This unique experience transforms a hotel stay into an adventure, as each room is decorated to provide an immersive experience akin to being in a zoo.
Moreover, guests will find a special height chart, designed by illustrator Hidekazu Tamura — featuring the beloved polar bear “Hou-chan,” allowing children and adults alike to measure their height against this adorable creature. As an added bonus, guests will receive a ticket to the Tennoji Zoo and a selection of original hotel souvenirs with their stay. Prices start at ¥19,900 for a room including breakfast and ¥18,300 for room-only rates (tax included).
Delight in Winter Culinary Classics at Manten no Tsujinaya
Meanwhile, Manten no Tsujinaya in Awazu Onsen, Ishikawa, is introducing two delightful crab-themed dining experiences starting September 29. As winter approaches, crab dishes become a much-anticipated part of Ishikawa's culinary landscape. The hotel aims to satisfy the palates of seafood lovers with their “Crab Feast Course” and “Live Crab Course.”
The “Crab Feast Course” boasts a variety of delicacies, including crab sashimi, crab hot pot, crab chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), crab tempura, and a sumptuous crab porridge, offering a true feast for crab enthusiasts. On the other hand, the “Live Crab Course” features fresh Zuwai crab sashimi, crab hot pot, grilled crab, steamed crab, and crab porridge, serving approximately 1.5 crabs per guest, showcasing the luxurious offering of Wright crab.
Each dining option is limited to 50 servings daily, ensuring an exclusive experience. Both courses come with exquisite appetizers and desserts, including seasonal fruits and cakes. The head chef of Manten no Tsujinaya, Takashi Tanaka, recently received recognition as a “Culinary Contributor” from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare for his exceptional skills.
With prices starting at ¥29,800 for the “Crab Feast Course” (including dinner and breakfast) and ¥39,800 for the “Live Crab Course” (with dinner and breakfast), guests can look forward to an exceptional culinary journey.
