This year’s ice installation pays tribute to the late Pope Francis and his successor, Pope Leo XIV, with detailed representations of six popes. The dome includes stunning elements such as a replica of the basilica's façade, the Holy Door, and the papal throne, all crafted from 225 tons of ice and 1,800 blocks, thanks to the collaborative efforts of twenty sculptors from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany, under the artistic direction of Adam Bakoš.

The creation, which took 25 days to complete, showcases the dedication and talent of the sculptors, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and artistry of the region. Each intricate design element aims to inspire visitors and immerse them in the seasonal spirit.
