Overcoming Barriers to TNFD Implementation: A Roadmap for Value Creation

Overcoming Barriers to TNFD Implementation

On November 6, 2025, Yachiyo Engineering Co., Ltd. will host a free online seminar titled "Overcoming Barriers to TNFD Implementation: A Roadmap for Value Creation from Your Current Position." This seminar, in collaboration with the Norinchukin Bank and the Norinchukin Research Institute, aims to provide valuable insights into the challenges companies face regarding TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) initiatives.

With biodiversity loss being recognized as a significant global risk, the concept of "Nature Positive" has gained traction worldwide. Companies must actively strive to mitigate the environmental impact of their business operations and engage in nature restoration efforts. Despite TNFD calling for greater transparency regarding nature-related risks, many corporate stakeholders struggle with understanding where to start or how to achieve internal alignment. Common concerns include uncertainty about the benefits of disclosure and apprehensions about how far organizations should go with their commitments.

During the seminar, experts from finance and technology will discuss specific processes related to TNFD compliance and how businesses can create value through sustainable practices. Attendees will gain access to emerging trends, including a surge in Japanese companies registering as TNFD adopters, and insight into how financial markets assess nature-related risks and opportunities for organizations. Our goal is to equip participants with a practical roadmap tailored to their current situation.
