In 2025, on May 1st, CDI is set to release an innovative new feature nestled within its care record tool, ‘Keai Piano Note’. This AI-powered functionality, dubbed ‘AI Care Report’, is designed specifically for care facilities aiming to streamline their monthly reporting processes by automatically generating summaries of care records.

The Role of AI in Care Reporting

The ‘AI Care Report’ feature stands out by utilizing artificial intelligence to analyze and summarize daily care records input into the Keai Piano Note system. This feature allows service providers to share pertinent information seamlessly and aids in producing essential documents like monthly reports and monitoring reports. Notably, it significantly reduces the workload that care coordinators previously faced while preparing these reports manually, thereby enabling them to focus more on providing quality care.

Key Features of AI Care Report

• - Automatic Summarization and Analysis: AI processes care records from any chosen period (up to two months) and produces written summaries reflecting the changes in clients’ conditions as well as service satisfaction levels.
• - In-Depth Analysis Based on Five Basic Pflege: Using five essential elements of care—waking, eating, toileting, maintaining cleanliness, and activity—the AI meticulously analyzes changes in clients’ conditions. For instance, it may note improvements in swallowing or identify concerning patterns such as instability in walking, all articulated clearly in the generated report.
• - Customizable Edits: Users can easily adjust the AI-generated text using a dedicated editing section, allowing for a smooth transition into their regular reporting formats.
• - Short-Term Goal Integration: By inputting short-term objectives, coordinators can utilize the tool in generating monitoring reports as well.
