Silver One Resources Unveils New Copper and Silver Exploration Targets at Phoenix Silver Project
Silver One Resources Inc. has recently announced exciting developments from its ZTEM airborne geophysical survey at the Phoenix Silver Project, located near Globe, Arizona. The survey, completed in October 2024 by Geotech LTD, has revealed several significant anomalies that indicate promising prospects for both porphyry copper and silver exploration. This news comes as a significant boost for the mining company, which is committed to exploring high-potential properties in the region.
Overview of the ZTEM Survey
The ZTEM (Z-Axis Tipper Electromagnetic) survey processed data and generated 3D models highlighting various explorational targets. The analysis identified two priority copper targets and five silver targets, all of which have been recommended for further exploration. These anomalies are characterized by geophysical, geochemical, and geological features typical of porphyry copper deposits.
The copper targets identified at Phoenix Silver exhibit a similar regional setting to the nearby BHP Ocelot copper deposit, strengthening their potential. The project is situated in a prolific copper production belt that includes the likes of Freeport McMoRan and Rio Tinto, enhancing the attractiveness of further exploration efforts.
Identified Exploration Targets
The results of the survey outline both copper and silver targets:
1. Copper Targets: The priority targets, namely Defiance and Quartz Ridge, have shown magnetic anomalies that suggest potential mineralization. These targets are characterized by geophysical features that include relative magnetic lows surrounded by high magnetization halos. This type of anomaly is typically associated with porphyry copper systems.
- Defiance Target: Approximately 4 square kilometers in size, located within the vicinity of detected anomalies.
- Quartz Ridge Target: Spanning around 8 square kilometers, it also aligns with the expected characteristics of buried mineralization.
2. Silver Targets: Five silver targets (PS1 to PS5) have been identified using advanced algorithms to analyze structural data and trends. Notably, one of the targets, named
