Blueprint Finance Secures Funding Round to Enhance DeFi Infrastructure for Institutions

Blueprint Finance Completes Strategic Funding Round

Blueprint Finance, known for its role as the core developer of the Concrete platform, has successfully finalized a strategic funding round. This round, primarily led by Polychain Capital, also saw participation from a range of notable entities, including Bullish, Keyrock, BitGo, FalconX, G-20, Flowdesk, JPEG Trading, Sentient Capital, Andes, and 2Square. This diverse mix of investors reflects their genuine interest in enhancing the burgeoning decentralized finance (DeFi) sector.

Purpose of the Funding

The capital raised will be instrumental in scaling Concrete's full-stack vault infrastructure. This infrastructure is designed with the aim of empowering institutions, protocols, and asset managers to effectively launch, manage, and allocate capital through sophisticated on-chain strategies. Blueprint Finance is dedicated to establishing a comprehensive framework for decentralized finance that allows vaults to act as programmable on-chain capital allocators. This eliminates the need for asset managers to handle multiple processes independently, such as execution, accounting, risk management, and integration across various protocols. Instead, Concrete aims to unify these functions within a singular vault system.

Enhancing the Concrete Ecosystem

In parallel with its vault infrastructure expansion, Blueprint Finance has also been actively growing the Concrete ecosystem. New financial primitives, such as AssetCX and concUSD, have been introduced as part of this evolution, enhancing Concrete's capacity to facilitate innovative products, markets, and assets on its institutional-grade framework.

Nic Roberts-Huntley, the CEO and co-founder of Blueprint Finance, expressed his enthusiasm regarding the funding round. He stated, “DeFi is transitioning beyond merely achieving the highest advertised yields in capital allocation. The forthcoming phase concerns the provision of robust infrastructure that offers professional allocators the controls, transparency, automation, and risk management required, while still harnessing the unique power of on-chain markets.” The involvement of firms seasoned in various aspects of digital asset markets is a significant advantage for Concrete as it gears up for its momentum.

Growing Institutional Interest

The funding round indicates a notable increase in institutional interest towards vault infrastructure. As digital asset markets evolve, allocators increasingly demand more than just access to yield; they require features such as auditable accounting, defined operational permissions, scalable execution, transparent risk management, and robust infrastructure that can adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.

Roberts-Huntley further elaborated on the importance of the participants in this funding round, saying, “The participants are as essential to us as the capital itself. They represent firms that play a pivotal role in digital asset markets. Their expertise enriches the Concrete ecosystem, helping us form strategic partnerships across liquidity, execution, custody, and distribution.”

About Blueprint Finance

Blueprint Finance is a pioneer in building infrastructure for institutional on-chain finance and serves as the core developer of Concrete. The Concrete platform is engineered as a full-stack vault infrastructure designed to enhance the next generation of on-chain asset management. Its modular architecture facilitates institutions, protocols, asset issuers, and allocators to create and operate vaults with automated execution, comprehensive accounting, risk controls, and quantitative strategy tools.

By marrying DeFi’s native composability with robust operational infrastructure tailored for institutional needs, Concrete strives to construct a scalable and transparent foundation for programmable capital markets on-chain.
