AgriPass Secures $7.5 Million Seed Round to Advance AI Weed Control Tech in U.S. and Europe
AgriPass Raises $7.5 Million Seed Funding to Scale AI-Powered Weed Control
AgriPass, a pioneering company in agricultural technology, has completed a significant seed funding round, securing $7.5 million to accelerate its operations in the United States and Europe. This round was spearheaded by Harbor Venture Consulting, alongside established investors including E44 Climate Ventures, and key partners within the ecosystem.
With this injection of funds, AgriPass aims to bolster the commercialization of its innovative product, the RHIC (Robot of Human Inspired Cultivation). This advanced platform harnesses human-inspired AI to facilitate selective mechanical weed control while minimizing soil disruption and reducing reliance on chemical herbicides. By imitating human judgment in real-time, the RHIC system focuses on targeting weeds directly at their roots, enhancing the overall ecological health of farmland.
Operating since 2023, AgriPass has successfully deployed its technology commercially in both the U.S. and EU markets, with ongoing engagements set to contribute to revenue projections for 2026. This technology stands to empower farmers, particularly those operating small to mid-sized agricultural businesses, during their transition towards sustainable and regenerative practices that are crucial for modern farming. According to Liron Yanay, CEO of AgriPass, “Labor volatility, regulatory challenges, and the degradation of soil health are reshaping how farms operate. Our RHIC platform is designed to replicate human decision-making, making it ideally suited to meet these evolving demands.”
At the core of the RHIC technology is its unique ability to integrate contextual AI with mechanical operation, dynamically adjusting its actions based on the presence of weeds, the proximity of crops, and current soil conditions. This adaptability allows AgriPass to maintain optimal farming practices that help mitigate productivity and economic challenges caused by labor shortages and environmental pressures.
Through partnerships across the ag-robotics sector, including collaborators like FYELD Agriculture OEM and members of the NVIDIA Inception Program, AgriPass consistently works toward the development and deployment of its technology in real-world agricultural settings.
In recognition of its groundbreaking work, AgriPass has been honored with the 2025 Climate Solutions Prize, underscoring the significance of its contributions toward sustainable agricultural practices. Notably, CEO Liron Yanay has also been acknowledged as a prominent figure in the agricultural technology community, earning a spot among the leading women in AgFood for 2025.
Further updates and live demonstrations of the RHIC platform will be showcased at the upcoming World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit scheduled for March 16–18, 2026, in San Francisco. This event will serve as an important platform for discussing innovations in the ag-tech space and showcasing how AI technologies, like those developed by AgriPass, can shape the future of agriculture.
AgriPass Robotics specializes in AI and robotics solutions tailored for adaptive field operations in agriculture, aiming to redefine traditional farming practices through technology. By equipping agricultural machinery with real-time AI decision-making capabilities, it enables these machines to interpret agronomic contexts and modify their actions accordingly, addressing labor challenges while promoting sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.
