The upcoming Netherlands Contact Lens Congress (NCC) 2026 is set to feature a significant presentation by CooperVision, a leader in contact lens innovation. This research emphasizes critical areas such as comfort, vision quality, and overall performance—demonstrating that modern lenses are attuned to user needs.

Posters exhibited at the congress will delve into the perspectives of eye care professionals and consumers regarding remote eye care, revealing specific motivations and decision-making factors for both novice and experienced contact lens wearers. The findings indicate promising opportunities for engaging more individuals in trying and adopting contact lenses.

Multifocal Contact Lenses


In response to the growing demand for multifocal contact lenses, CooperVision’s additional research presented at NCC will include three studies exploring the adaptation process for presbyopia patients. Early findings indicate opportunities for more proactive management in fitting patients experiencing early presbyopia, aligning with adaptation guideline recommendations. Furthermore, these studies demonstrate promising user satisfaction rates among those transitioning from hydrogel lenses to silicone hydrogel multifocals.
