Angeion Group Enhances Leadership with Jade Weiner's Appointment as UK VP of Business Development
Jade Weiner Appointed as Vice President of Business Development at Angeion Group
Angeion Group has recently welcomed Jade Weiner as its UK Vice President of Business Development, a strategic decision that emphasizes the company's dedication to expanding its leadership in global group litigation support and client services. This appointment signifies a robust investment in their international growth and a focus on client-centric leadership within the collective redress sector.
In her new role, Jade will work closely with law firms, litigation funders, and various stakeholders to create scalable and cost-effective solutions tailored for complex group claims. She will spearhead business development initiatives throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, enhancing partnerships and fostering innovation in a rapidly changing landscape.
Jade Weiner is not new to the legal field, as she is a qualified lawyer and notary public with extensive experience across multiple stages of group litigation, especially in handling large-scale environmental and consumer claims. Before joining Angeion, she held senior leadership positions in a prominent international group litigation firm that was instrumental in leading significant NOx emissions lawsuits, developing strategies across borders, and constructing frameworks for some of the largest claims in legal history.
Expressing her enthusiasm for this new chapter, Jade stated, “Joining Angeion represents an exciting next phase in my career. Transitioning from the legal practice to the business side of law allows me to apply my legal insights, strategic thinking, and business acumen in ways that can genuinely drive innovation and collaboration on a global scale.” She added, “Angeion's mission resonates with my values—focusing on access to justice, client-centered approaches, and integrity in execution. I'm thrilled to join a team that views group litigation not merely as a business, but as a means to create impact and accountability.”
Eric Eckhardt, Chief Revenue Officer of Angeion Group, commented on Jade’s appointment, stating, “This significant addition to our team reflects our commitment to broadening Angeion's reach through exceptional talent. Jade’s unique fusion of legal knowledge, strategic insight, and international experience make her an excellent choice to guide our UK business development initiatives. We are looking forward to observing the positive impact she will undoubtedly have as we aim to bolster our presence in critical markets while delivering unparalleled service to our clients.”
Jade’s legal journey began in the human rights space, where she clerked for the Chief Justice of South Africa. This role involved working on pivotal constitutional issues related to education access, socio-economic rights, and gender equality. Her past experiences in non-profit organizations, public interest law, and legal tech startups continue to inspire her resolve to enhance transparency and deliver better services for claimants.
Academically, Jade holds a BCL from the University of Oxford as a Weidenfeld-Hoffman and Chevening Scholar and has earned a Diploma in Organizational Leadership (Distinction) from Oxford Saïd Business School. She is also currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, backed by a scholarship aimed at supporting women in leadership roles.
Jade's induction symbolizes the unwavering commitment of Angeion Group to excellence, transparency, and client success across all areas of operation.
