The Pokémon Company has officially announced the opening of its first permanent facility, Poképark Kanto, set to debut in the spring of 2026. Located in the lush Takamatsu Hills of the Kanto region, this expansive park will cover approximately 2.6 hectares, offering an immersive experience for Pokémon fans and trainers alike. Ticket sales are expected to begin in autumn 2025, and further details regarding pricing and methods of purchase will be revealed in the near future.
What is Poképark Kanto?
Poképark Kanto is designed to be an unforgettable adventure where trainers can interact with over 600 different Pokémon. The park features two main areas: a forest and a town, each providing distinct experiences that will delight trainers of all ages.
Explore the Rich Pokémon Forest
The
Pokémon Forest, stretching about 500 meters, is a vibrant environment filled with diverse terrains such as hills, tunnels, and grassy grounds. Here, trainers can run, battle, and even share berries, all while observing Pokémon native to the Kanto region. As trainers traverse the forest, they will discover Pokémon of various sizes. Some are towering giants, while others cleverly hide among the earth and foliage. The thrill of spotting your favorite Pokémon adds to the magic of the experience.
Discover the Vibrant Kayatsuri Town
In contrast,
Kayatsuri Town brings together trainers and Pokémon from around the globe, presenting a lively setting full of new encounters. This town boasts a Pokémon Trainer's Market filled with merchandise, a Pokémon Center, and a Friendly Shop, along with a gym. Visitors will also be captivated by friendly parades featuring an array of Pokémon. The centerpiece of the town, the stunning fountain dedicated to
Asiren, warmly welcomes guests, making Kayatsuri Town a hub of excitement for both trainers and Pokémon alike.
The combination of these two areas ensures that Poképark Kanto will offer a balanced mix of exploration and community interaction, creating a rich experience that captures the essence of the Pokémon world.
