On January 21, 2025, Flight Adventure Park announced an exciting transformation for its Irmo, South Carolina location, where the family-friendly destination will celebrate its grand reopening on January 31, 2025. Known for its innovative approach to encouraging active play and interactive learning, this revamped park is set to feature a captivating space theme that promises to enthrall visitors of all ages.

The grand reopening will kick off a weekend celebration filled with engaging festivities. Expect thrilling activities such as music from DJs, fun face painting, and a special appearance by former NASA astronaut Captain Robert "Hoot" Gibson, who serves as an Advisory Council Member for the park. The return of Flight Adventure Park encourages families to come together to celebrate this new era, creating lasting memories among the stars.

New Attractions and Experiences

The upgraded park will showcase the newly designed 2,500 sq. ft. interactive Lunar Park. This remarkable area invites visitors to jump from one planet to another, leap out of airplane hatches, and even climb aboard a space shuttle. In addition, the park will unveil its Lunar Court, where families can engage in thrilling activities like slam dunking, freestyle jumping, and exciting games of dodgeball.

For special occasions, the park now offers two innovative private party rooms designed to resemble aircraft hangars. These themed rooms come with educational and interactive content on their walls, providing a unique atmosphere perfect for birthdays and special events.
