Kearney's Global Business Policy Council Appoints Per Hong as Senior Fellow

Kearney's Global Business Policy Council (GBPC) has officially welcomed Per Hong as its new senior fellow, effective immediately. Known for his extensive experience, Per is a seasoned partner located at Kearney's Minneapolis office. He possesses over 20 years of experience providing strategic advice to businesses across multiple sectors, including consumer products, life sciences, healthcare, and various industrial domains. His career is marked by significant contributions to operational transformation, particularly in areas such as post-merger integration, performance enhancement, and supply chain management.

Per stands out for his leadership in Kearney's collaboration with the World Economic Forum's Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains. His efforts were particularly notable during the launch of the Forum's COVID action platform, and he has consistently provided insights and expertise amid increasing geopolitical instability and supply chain disturbances. As a regular speaker at industry events and a recognized author of numerous studies and reports, he has helped to shape Kearney's views and initiatives concerning operational resilience and the reconfiguration of global supply chains.

Despite the addition of this new role, Per will continue to serve as the Americas co-lead in operations and performance, thereby ensuring a dual focus on internal leadership and external advisory responsibilities. In expressing his excitement about the new appointment, Per stated, “As a senior fellow with the Global Business Policy Council, I aim to leverage my global experiences to enhance the strategic foresight capacities of the GBPC. My goal is to assist senior business leaders in understanding the implications of escalated external shocks on their operations and supply chains, while also supporting them in developing contingency strategies for navigating these challenges.”

Erik R. Peterson, Managing Director of the GBPC, praised Per's ongoing contributions to the Council's initiatives. "Per has been an active contributor to our Council's work for quite some time. His insights and strategies are invaluable to our mission, and we are thrilled to formally acknowledge his role on our team in this capacity. We look forward to strengthening our collaborations as he takes on these new responsibilities,” Peterson remarked.
