Yutong Bus Continues to Drive Sustainable Public Transport Forward

Yutong Bus, a leading global manufacturer of utility vehicles, has announced significant growth in its sales, achieving a 5.54% increase in 2025 compared to the previous year. As the world increasingly shifts towards sustainable transportation, Yutong is at the forefront of making public transport greener and more efficient.

The company's operational stability is underscored by its strong sales performance, including the delivery of 49,518 vehicles in 2025. This success is attributed to the continuous innovation and dedication to environmental responsibility. Yutong's efforts are particularly focused on reducing carbon emissions and improving public transport systems globally.

Strategic Innovations and Collaborations

Yutong's ongoing investments across various markets, including Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the reliability of its vehicles. This strategy includes establishing direct service stations and regional spare parts centers, ensuring that customers have access to necessary support throughout the lifecycle of their buses. Launching the EnRoute+ service brand further reflects Yutong's pledge to provide tailored, efficient, and intelligent assistance to customers.

The company has maintained robust annual research and development expenditures, surpassing 5% of total operating revenue. Yutong introduced its innovative Long-life Technology for electric vehicles (EVs), enabling a lifespan of up to 15 years or 1.5 million kilometers. This development highlights Yutong's leadership in battery, motor, and electronic control systems, marking significant advancements in the electric bus sector.

At the Busworld Europe 2025 event in Belgium, Yutong’s T14E and U15 models were awarded the 'Grand Award Coach' and 'Grand Award Bus,' respectively. Such recognition not only illustrates the industry’s appreciation for Yutong's innovative approaches but also proves the effectiveness of its products in various international markets.

In the Philippines, for example, the C12Pro model has shown remarkable results, achieving a fuel consumption reduction of 12% per 100 kilometers compared to its predecessor. Meanwhile, the IC12E battery-operated intercity bus successfully completed 1,200 kilometers of rigorous testing across four Nordic countries, demonstrating its versatility in diverse operational conditions.

Commitment to Global Mobility and Local Communities

Yutong’s collaboration with public transport operators around the globe has led to significant achievements. In Central Asia, over 10,000 Yutong buses have been delivered. The company also made considerable headway in Pakistan, Chile, and Greece by delivering hundreds of electric buses. Notably, Yutong provided 723 buses for the International African Sports Tournament in Morocco, highlighting its capability to manage large-scale transportation needs efficiently.

Through promoting local employment and community engagement, Yutong continues to strengthen ties with host communities, creating sustainable job opportunities worldwide.

Long-term Sustainability Goals

Sustainable development is deeply embedded in Yutong's mission. The company places high importance on Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. In 2025, Yutong achieved an EcoVadis Gold Rating with 81 points, representing solid performance in sustainability, ethics, and responsible supply chain management.

Yutong’s commitment to the environment is also exemplified through initiatives like the 'Net Zero Forest' project, which supports the planting of approximately 47,000 trees in countries like China, Chile, the UK, and Mexico, adhering to its ecological pledge of 'One Bus, One Tree.' Moreover, community initiatives such as the 'Let’s Go Green' campaign and the 'School Bus Safety Tour' in Kazakhstan aim to enhance awareness of public transportation benefits and road safety among younger generations.

As Yutong looks to the future, it remains committed to its mission of enhancing public travel experiences and delivering greater customer value. With continual collaboration with global partners, Yutong is poised to lead developments in sustainable public transport, contributing towards a greener, more inclusive future for global mobility.
