TenderHeart Health Outcomes Partners with Medline

In a significant development for the healthcare sector, TenderHeart Health Outcomes, a Texas-based provider focused on high-quality medical supplies and patient-centered care, has entered into a distribution and supply agreement with Medline. This collaboration aims to enhance patient outcomes through innovative care solutions and efficient supply chain management.

The agreement leverages Medline's robust logistics capabilities, allowing TenderHeart to utilize the Medline Home Direct™ Program. This program will facilitate the direct shipment of essential medical supplies to patients’ homes, which include products for enteral feeding, urology, ostomy and wound care, breast pumps, pediatric mobility aids, and a variety of incontinence items. By eliminating traditional barriers, this initiative broadens access to necessary medical supplies and empowers patients to manage their health effectively.

Chairing this initiative, Jason Wells, CFO of TenderHeart, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. Medline’s extensive fulfillment network, which includes 45 distribution centers across the United States, enables them to deliver supplies rapidly, with the goal of reaching 95% of customers the next day. Currently, two distribution facilities located in Katy, Texas and Auburndale, Florida are dedicated to servicing TenderHeart's patient needs, ensuring timely availability of medical products.

In addition to this supply chain enhancement, Medline is committed to investing in automation technologies within their distribution centers. This investment aims to maintain high service levels and streamline the processing of patient-specific orders, which is crucial in the effective delivery of healthcare services.
