Fullerton College to Host LiDAR Summit 2025
Fullerton College in California is gearing up for an exciting exploration of cutting-edge LiDAR technology as they host the
LiDAR Summit 2025 on December 16. The one-day event promises to be a hub for innovation, bringing together leaders from various sectors to delve into the real-world applications of 3D geospatial data.
The summit will feature a keynote speech by
Pete Kelsey, founder of
VCTO Labs LLC, and a respected authority in 3D reality capture. Kelsey is set to share his experiences from two compelling projects, namely "Capturing Alcatraz"—a digital initiative employing high-resolution LiDAR and photogrammetry—and his intriguing work at Skinwalker Ranch, utilizing advanced scanning techniques to investigate scientific and cultural enigmas.
