SEGA has unveiled an animated trailer for its upcoming title, Sonic Racing: Cross Worlds, scheduled for release on September 25, 2025. The trailer captures the vibrant world and high-octane racing experiences that fans can expect. What’s more, a free demo version that allows players to carry over their save data to the full game has just been made available!

Starting today at 1 PM (JST) on September 17, 2023, players can download the demo on various platforms including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games. It promises an exhilarating taste of the game, which has already seen over 11 million races during its network test phase.

What's Included in the Demo

Players will dive into the Grand Prix mode and Time Trial mode while experiencing gameplay involving character and gadget customization. The demo features:

• - Courses: 8 different tracks, which include 3 main and 5 unique Cross World races.
• - Vehicles: 12 customizable machines.

Players should note that while save data can be transferred to the full version, time trial data and modified user settings will not carry over. Furthermore, the demo does not support online or local multiplayer modes.
