The City Bakery Tenjin Solaria Plaza is back and better than ever! After being temporarily closed since June 2025, the beloved Fukuoka location will unveil its renovation on December 10. As we celebrate ten years in Fukuoka, the bakery aims to elevate the local experience by offering delightful hand-dripped coffee and exclusive drinks tailored for Tenjin.

Hand-Dripped Coffee for a Unique Experience

In the previous layout, customers enjoyed a blend of atmosphere and conversation with baristas while savoring their coffee. This connection is cherished, and the new store will present its first-ever hand-drip coffee service. Sourced from renowned roasters like Obscura Coffee Roasters and Sawamura Roastery Karuizawa, four unique coffee types will be available. Additionally, for those who wish to recreate the experience at home, the beans will also be available for purchase.

Enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee right from the counter will soon be a cherished part of everyone's daily routine.

Exclusive Drinks Made with Kyushu Ingredients

In addition to the hand-drip coffee, The City Bakery is excited to offer two exclusive drinks crafted from Kyushu ingredients, available only at the Tenjin Solaria Plaza location. These unique beverages promise to tantalize the taste buds:

1. Shiranui Ice Cream Espresso (Hot) – ¥850 (tax included ¥935)
This drink features a blend of rich flavors from an herb blend Americano, combined with sweet and tangy Shiranui marmalade for a smooth, aromatic experience.

2. Yame Green Tea Lemonade (Hot/Iced) – ¥800 (tax included ¥880)
A refreshing drink that pairs the savory sweetness of Yame green tea with homemade lemon lemonade, capturing the essence of Fukuoka’s local harvest.

Special Limited Edition Opening Set

To commemorate the reopening, The City Bakery will offer a special limited edition set on December 10. Featuring two drip bag coffees, a stylish mug, and the popular pretzel bagel, this festive set is perfect for bringing a taste of The City Bakery into daily life. The navy mini bag, which can also be cinched into a pouch, adds a fun and functional touch!
