Exciting Workshop for Summer Enthusiasts: Handy Fan Creation

On July 12, 2025, Francfranc, a lifestyle interior brand, will collaborate with Otsuma Women's University students to host a unique workshop event titled “Create Your Own Handy Fan”. This event is part of the larger project titled “Enhancing Your Daily Life with Favorites, Produced by Otsuma Women's University m_r tokyo” at Mitsui Shopping Park Urban Dock Lalaport Toyosu. This collaboration brings together various fashion and lifestyle brands to support the concept of “oshi-katsu”, or activities centered around one’s favorites.

The workshop allows participants to decorate the popular Fure Handy Fan series, providing all materials needed to create a bespoke piece that reflects their personal style and fandom. Whether you are a fan of a particular band, artist, or theme, this event is the perfect opportunity to express that passion creatively.

Workshop Details

The workshop will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is open to the first 100 people who meet any of the following criteria:
1. Participants who purchase a Handy Fan at the POP UP SHOP located in Lalaport Toyosu.
2. Individuals who already own a Handy Fan and present a receipt totaling 3,000 yen (inclusive of tax) spent that day in the venue...

To join in on the fun, participants must bring their Handy Fan for decoration. It’s a unique way to engage with fellow fans while crafting a personalized accessory.

POP UP SHOP Launch

In conjunction with the workshop, a Fure Handy Fan POP UP SHOP will operate from June 30 to July 13, 2025. During this period, visitors can explore the latest models of the Fure Handy Fan, alongside trending accessories designed for convenience and style. These fans come in various colors and boast innovative features like multiple wind speeds and USB charging capabilities.

The POP UP SHOP will also introduce the Fure Mini Fan, perfect for portability, as well as stylish neck straps and hand straps designed to complement the fans. This inclusive range ensures that you can take your favorite fan experience wherever life leads you, whether it’s a music festival, sports event, or a simple day out.

The event is part of a larger initiative celebrating the creativity of Otsuma Women's University students, which marks the fourth collaboration between the university and Lalaport Toyosu. This initiative is rooted in insights gathered from students studying consumer engagement specific to Generation Z. Therefore, along with the workshop, visitors can expect exciting fashion showcases, culinary delights, and live performances from up-and-coming artists like TEAM SHACHI and AMEFURASSHI, enhancing the overall experience.
