Comprehensive Community Health Centers Hosts Annual Health Leaders Forum for National Health Center Week 2026

The Comprehensive Community Health Centers (CCHC) have officially announced their annual Health Leaders Forum, scheduled for August 5, 2026, as part of this year’s National Health Center Week. The theme for the forum is "Building Innovative Care Where it Matters Most," emphasizing the commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery in vital areas.

The forum is set to take place at the Glendale Central Library Auditorium in California and will begin at 9:30 AM. This significant event is expected to gather a diverse group of participants, including healthcare executives, policymakers, advocates, and community leaders. Their collective aim is to collaborate in sharing insights, improving care coordination, and fortifying the healthcare safety net across Los Angeles County.

David Lontok, CCHC's President and CEO, will open the event, leading into a keynote address from Dr. Diana E. Ramos, California's Surgeon General. This year’s exciting agenda also features other keynote speakers like Denise Dador, the health specialist at ABC7, and Jannelle So-Perkins, a commissioner with the Los Angeles County Commission for Women.

One of the most anticipated segments of the forum will be a panel discussion that boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, including Mayor Ardy Kassakhian from the City of Glendale, Katie Lewis from Direct Relief, Dr. Darneika Watson from Glendale Unified School District, and Zul Surani from Cedars-Sinai Hospital's Cancer Research Center for Health Equity.

CCHC has a rich history, being established in 2004, and has built over 20 years of expertise as one of Los Angeles County’s leading Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). They provide critical healthcare services to over 55,000 patients from underserved communities, ensuring that comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services are accessible regardless of immigration status. Additionally, CCHC operates a Mobile Clinic that extends its services to seven school districts within Los Angeles, enhancing access to healthcare for school-aged children.
