What is Sports Wellness Fukiya?
Founded in
1998, Sports Wellness Fukiya is a unique sport that requires participants to blow arrows toward a circular target positioned between
5m to 10m away. With its emphasis on a specialized breathing technique based on abdominal breathing, practitioners engage in a controlled and focused shooting experience.
Competitors shoot
five arrows within three minutes during each round, aiming to accumulate the highest total score. The scoring system is straightforward: the center white area grants
7 points, the red area
5 points, the outer white area
3 points, and the outer black area only
1 point.
