Introduction of FreeiD at EFUTE Kitayama

The EFUTE series is a brand under the Hokkaido Gas Group, focusing on high-performance, energy-efficient rental apartments designed for comfort, safety, and superior environmental performance. Situated in the Maruyama area of Sapporo's Chuo ward, EFUTE Kitayama is a five-story rental apartment building scheduled for completion in October 2025. This location is celebrated for its proximity to natural attractions such as Hokkaido Shrine and Maruyama Park, combined with convenient access to urban centers, making it a sought-after residential area.

The decision to integrate FreeiD was driven by the demand for modern security solutions and enhanced convenience for residents. In addition to EFUTE Kitayama, DXYZ has similarly integrated FreeiD into other projects by Hokkaido Gas Life Front, including EFUTE Minami Maruyama and EFUTE Shin Sapporo, both of which are also slated for completion in 2025. This innovative system not only provides ease of access, even with hands full, but also ensures a high level of security through cutting-edge facial recognition technology, aligning with the rapidly changing needs of users.

This platform allows users to manage access and make payments just by using their face, eliminating the need for wallets or ID cards. Moreover, FreeiD’s adaptability enables it to collaborate with various AI facial recognition systems, optimizing the technology for various applications.

DXYZ’s offerings include the 'FreeiD Mansion' solution tailored specifically for apartment complexes, which implements full facial recognition systems throughout common areas like entrances and elevators, making it Japan's first fully facial-recognition-based rental property, also referred to as an 'All Face Recognition Mansion®.' As of the end of October 2025, FreeiD is set to be integrated into a total of 271 buildings.

The deployment of facial recognition systems is not limited to residential complexes; DXYZ is expanding its solutions to offices, daycare centers, golf courses, and theme parks.
