Located in Ikebukuro, one of Japan's vibrant entertainment districts, GiGO opened its first flagship location on September 20, 2023, under the concept of a “stage where anyone can become the protagonist.” This impressive establishment spans 947 tsubo (approx. 3,130 square meters) and features four floors, welcoming numerous visitors from both Japan and abroad since its inception.

As the anniversary approaches, GiGO has planned a range of thrilling events to mark this milestone. From customer engagement to exciting giveaways, the anniversary events promise something for everyone. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:

Special Events to Celebrate Three Years

1. Gathering of Eastern Japan’s Ace Staff

On September 20, 2026, the top staff members from Eastern Japan’s GiGO locations will gather at the flagship store. Dressed with sashes, these ace staff will greet customers with their best smiles and unparalleled service. An exciting customer service contest will be held for one day only, where the ace with the best service will earn the title of Eastern Japan's Customer Service Champion!

2. Exclusive Anniversary Souvenirs for App Users

During the celebration period, customers checking into the GiGO flagship store through the GiGO app will receive a special commemorative emblem. Furthermore, those who play games using the GiGO link within the app for 200 yen or more will be gifted an original smartphone grip designed specifically for the anniversary. This event runs from September 5 to September 23, 2026.

3. Introduction to iPrint: A Workshop for Newcomers

A special workshop targeted at children who have yet to experience iPrint will take place on September 12 and 13, 2026. Participants will receive a beginner’s set perfect for their iPrint debut. Nervous about starting? Don't worry! GiGO staff will assist you throughout, and the adorable “Fortune” character will also make a special appearance during these days.

4. Screening of a Commemorative Movie

During the anniversary celebration, a special movie highlighting the store's journey over the past three years will be screened on the large outdoor video wall at GiGO. The staff has produced unique panel art that visitors can admire. The movie will be shown from September 5 to September 23 and can also be viewed on the GiGO official YouTube channel.
