Adaptive ML and AT&T Enhance AI Collaboration to Optimize Enterprise AI Applications

Enhancing AI Efficiency: Adaptive ML and AT&T's Strategic Alliance

In an impressive leap towards redefining artificial intelligence in enterprise solutions, Adaptive ML has announced the renewal and expansion of its collaboration with AT&T. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in the deployment of advanced artificial intelligence models tailored for enterprise workflows.

Adaptive ML, recognized as a frontrunner in Reinforcement Learning Operations (RLOps), has partnered with AT&T to optimize AI capabilities following a successful year of collaboration. The expansion signifies a doubling of AT&T's software capacity, particularly in GPU nodes, facilitating a more extensive range of high-volume applications aimed at increasing operational efficiency.

As part of this project, Adaptive ML has embedded Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) within AT&T's data science teams. This integration allows for direct collaboration to enhance internal skills while also co-developing sophisticated reasoning models that cater specifically to processes such as fraud detection and bilingual customer engagement. By shifting from closed proprietary models to open-source reasoning systems, this collaboration not only aims to speed up the transition to autonomous systems but also to improve accuracy while reducing operational costs.

Through this partnership, AT&T has achieved remarkable results, notably in areas such as call summarization and fraud detection. The Adaptive ML's customized Gemma 12B model has shown a 30% improvement in performance compared to standard APIs, streamlining the daily transcript generation for customer service interactions. In fraud detection, specialized models have slashed the case review time from six minutes to just thirty seconds, significantly increasing the throughput for fraud analysts by up to twelve times.

Mark Austin, Vice President of Data Science at AT&T, states, "Our mission has always been to validate AI's effectiveness in enterprise operations rather than merely running experimental projects. The pathway to maximizing the impact of our AI applications involves moving past generic prompts and tailoring our models to our data and workflows. Our partnership with Adaptive ML provides the essential compute and data infrastructure to transition successfully and yield tangible benefits for both our workforce and customers."

Julien Launay, CEO and Co-founder of Adaptive ML, further emphasizes the importance of this approach, saying, "AT&T is demonstrating that the future of AI in enterprises is centered on developing the intelligence layer rather than just scaling models. By prioritizing specialization, AT&T transforms their domain-specific data into a strategically valuable asset. We are proud to support one of the most sophisticated AI implementations globally with our RLOps infrastructure."

Adaptive ML is pioneering the development of the first RLOps platform tailored for enterprise specialization, creating solutions that bridge necessary intelligence and value layers. Headquartered in New York and with a research team in Paris, the company focuses on large-scale deployments within complex international organizations. As the partnership continues to evolve, both Adaptive ML and AT&T are set to redefine standards in AI applications, showcasing the potential of tailored AI solutions in enhancing business operations.
