Support Initiatives Following Kumamoto Earthquake in Reiwa 8 Year
On July 31, following the Kumamoto earthquake, our company would like to express heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and offer support to everyone affected. Our thoughts and prayers are with the community for a swift and safe recovery from this disaster.
As a company equipped with kitchens in our establishments, we have focused on providing food during times of disruption caused by natural disasters. Despite the chaos in logistics and essential services triggered by the earthquake, we have managed to maintain operations by utilizing our stock and available facilities. With previous experiences from earlier events in mind, we have dispatched staff to the affected areas to ensure that we can provide timely support and assistance to those impacted by the earthquake.
We are committed to nurturing the community through our food-related business and supporting local cuisine and connections.
Due to the earthquake’s impact, several of our locations under "Hotto Motto," "Yayoi Ken," and "MK Restaurant" are experiencing altered operations. Out of 89 stores across Kumamoto Prefecture, some might be temporarily closed, have adjusted hours, or are offering a limited menu. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this challenging period.
