Overview of the CRC Forum 2026



Tokyo Denki University is excited to announce its second CRC Forum for the fiscal year 2026, themed "Carbon Neutral Road to 2050". This two-day event is scheduled for June 18 and July 2, 2026, targeting industry professionals, students, and anyone interested in sustainable practices. The forum is free to attend and will be held in a hybrid format, allowing attendees to participate either in person or online.

First Session: Keynote Lectures


Date and Format

The first session will take place on June 18, 2026, from 17:15 to 19:00. Participants can join in person at Tokyo Denki University’s Senju Campus in Niwa Hall (2nd Floor of Building 1) or via an online Zoom webinar. The in-person session has a capacity of 200 attendees, requiring prior registration. The online format has no limit on numbers but also requires registration.

Schedule of Events

The program will include the following highlights:
  • - Keynote Address: "Utilization and Collaboration of Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Architectural Technologies in Energy Enterprises" by Mr. Masanobu Sasaki, a Specialist from Tokyo Electric Power Energy Partner Co., Ltd.
  • - General Lecture: "Application of Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Information Technologies in Architectural Equipment: A Case Study of Senju C" by Professor Masashi Momota from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Future Science.
  • - Conclusion Remarks: Conducted by Visiting Professor Kunihiko Hidaka from Tokyo Denki University.

Second Session: Campus Tour and Energy Plans


Date and Format

The second session is set for July 2, 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00. This part will focus on energy-saving initiatives and plans implemented at the Senju Campus. Due to limited capacity, only participants from the first session will have priority, and it will not include an online component.

Schedule of Events

The second session will feature:
  • - Lecture: "Energy-Saving Plans and Achievements at Senju Campus" presented by Professor Masashi Momota.
  • - Campus Tour: Attendees will have the opportunity to explore energy-saving facilities within the campus led by Professor Momota.

Additional Information


All participants in both sessions can attend for free. Located just a minute's walk from the East Exit of Kitasenju Station, the Senju Campus is easily accessible.
