With a strong emphasis on sustainability and community involvement, SUMArt DAYS encompasses the themes of SUMA (Suma), Art, and Smart, promoting an intelligent and refined lifestyle towards a more sustainable future.

Featured Activities
1. Suma Mama Market
A family-friendly market will be held near the coast where attendees can enjoy various art projects, a baby crawling race, and local delicacies on October 11-12, 2025.
2. Marine Plastic Waste Aquarium
Showcasing the beautiful underwater photographs by Yasuaki Kagi, this event merges stunning visuals with messages about marine plastic waste. A special talk event will take place on October 18, 2025.
3. Bamboo Light Festival
This sustainable project, scheduled for October 18-19, utilizes bamboo from local thinning efforts to create stunning bamboo lanterns. It aims to explore the relationships between people, the sea, and culture through art.
4. Mermaid Workshop: Painting the Future Ocean
On October 25-26, workshops will encourage participants to paint sea creatures on recycled paper, creating a captivating photo spot reflecting sustainability.
5. Eco Challenge Seminars
Scheduled for October 26, these seminars will educate participants about the plastic pollution problem plaguing our oceans, featuring beach cleanup activities and workshops.
6. Food Drive Initiatives
As part of the ongoing efforts to reduce food waste, a food drive will be organized at Suma Coastal Park on select weekends in October 2025.
7. Book Bus Project
On October 26, a mobile library will operate in Suma Coastal Park, providing reading materials that inspire personal growth and new life paths for the younger generations.
