ELITE Solar Expands Production Capabilities in Egypt

ELITE Solar, a leading global player in solar panel manufacturing, has recently inaugurated its integrated solar panel production plant in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, Egypt. With the capability to produce 5 gigawatts (GW) of photovoltaic systems, this facility represents a major milestone in the company's global expansion strategy.

Key Features of the New Facility

The state-of-the-art plant includes production lines for high-efficiency solar cells, generating 2 GW, and solar modules, yielding 3 GW. This complete manufacturing platform is designed to cater to utility, commercial, and industrial customers worldwide, strengthening ELITE Solar's ability to meet the rising demand for renewable energy solutions.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly attended the opening ceremony earlier this month, underscoring the importance of the project in helping Egypt achieve its renewable energy objectives and bolstering local industry. The facility not only supports local workforce development but also enhances the region's role in the global clean energy supply chain.

On January 23, ELITE Solar hosted regional customers, strategic suppliers, and industry partners at the plant to familiarize them with the N-type solar cell and module production lines. The meeting focused on enhancing supply chain coordination, production planning, sourcing from local suppliers, and fostering long-term collaborations, highlighting ELITE Solar's commitment to operational reliability and scalable production.
