Chiyoda Sponsors the 13th National High School Dance Championship

This championship aims to determine the top high school dance club in Japan and marks its 11th year in 2025.

Since its inception in 2013, the DCC stands out for its unique judging criteria, which emphasizes the expression of kanji characters through dance. It brings together high school dance clubs from across the nation, providing them with a platform to showcase their hard work and dedication through performances that celebrate their love for dance. Each year, Chiyoda presents the prestigious Chiyoda Award, which allows the winning dance club to collaborate in creating custom dance shoes, further highlighting the strong connection between footwear and performance.

The finals will be held on August 29, 2025, at the Tokyo Garden Theater. Chiyoda will actively participate by setting up a booth at the event, displaying recommended footwear for dancers, including the FILA Tattica 3 series. Highlighting this year’s innovation, actress and Chiyoda’s dance ambassador, Rikka Ihara, has designed a special edition of the Tattica 3. This fourth collaboration is deeply personal, reflecting Ihara's experiences as a past DCC winner in her high school years.

At the finals, visitors can view the latest products and the limited edition shoes that embody the creative vision of Ihara. Chiyoda aims to support young people with a passion for dance by offering specialized footwear through its numerous retail locations across Japan, including Shu-Plaza and online at kutsu.com.
