Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Dr. Venkatraman was an Associate Professor of Petroleum and Geological Engineering at the University of Oklahoma from January 2019 to December 2020.

His career also includes significant research positions at prestigious institutions such as The University of Texas at Austin and Princeton University. Between 2004 and 2015, he worked at Shell International Exploration and Production Inc. in a variety of increasingly senior roles, including Senior Reservoir Engineer. Dr. Venkatraman’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Technology and Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
