A Tailored Learning Experience
The Official TOEFL Test Prep program, crafted alongside the creators of the TOEFL iBT, provides a testing experience tailored to the enhancements that will be featured in the upcoming test. The revisions aim to create a fairer, more accessible assessment that mirrors how learners practically use English in academic settings.
Among the key enhancements are adaptive Reading and Listening sections, which personalize the learning experience based on the student's performance, and revamped content reflecting essential skills for success in modern academic environments. The test will also feature an updated scoring scale that aligns intuitively with the globally acknowledged Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and promises faster score reporting within a 72-hour timeframe.
Adrián Ridner, CEO of Study.com, emphasized the significance of this collaboration stating, "This partnership combines decades of assessment expertise from TOEFL and the strengths of Study.com in adaptive, AI-driven learning and exam preparation. As an immigrant and a first-generation college graduate, it brings me joy to see how Study.com is reshaping the way students prepare for the 2026 TOEFL iBT exam, making it more personalized and allowing users to develop confidence in all sections of the test."
Features of the Official Program
The Official TOEFL Test Prep offers a flexible subscription model of either three or six months, providing practice questions that closely resemble those in the actual test. It incorporates adaptive learning that adjusts to the unique skill level of each student, alongside a personalized AI tutoring system that helps develop custom study plans, predict scores, and suggest next steps.
Additionally, the program introduces upgraded task types, including sentence construction, email composition, and interview-style speaking. It provides immediate feedback, detailed analytical insights, and a tracking system for progress across the all-important sections of Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.
Chris Mancini, Study.com's Chief Growth Officer, highlighted this partnership's potential impact, saying, "Our collaboration signifies a robust union of two industry pioneers in educational innovation. Together, we aim to broaden access to genuine, high-quality TOEFL preparation across the globe, helping millions of learners who start their journeys through TOEFL."
