Quantum Human Resource Development Symposium - Current Status and Future Prospects

The anticipated Quantum Human Resource Development Symposium will occur on March 11, 2026, through a hybrid format that allows both in-person and online participation. This event aims to gather key stakeholders from various sectors, including government agencies, educational institutions, and private enterprises involved in quantum talent initiatives across Japan.

The symposium intends to offer a platform for information exchange and collaboration among participants who are considering engaging in quantum talent development programs. The following organizations will co-host the symposium: Cabinet Office, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and the National Institute for Quantum Science and Technology. These institutions work in connection with strategic innovation programs like SIP Phase 3, which promotes the application of advanced quantum technologies in addressing societal issues, and the BRIDGE program aimed at bridging research and Society 5.0.
