Tres Agaves Tequila Launches in New European Markets
Tres Agaves Tequila, a family-owned producer of 100% agave tequila from Mexico's Tequila Valley, is making its debut in the UK and Ireland. This launch marks a significant step for the brand as it ventures into the European hospitality and independent distribution sectors on October 1, 2026. In the following months, Tres Agaves plans to expand its reach to Germany, Switzerland, the Nordic countries, and Spain, with a formal presentation at the prestigious Bar Convent Berlin in mid-October.
The tequila is crafted exclusively from a single estate located in Amatitán, which is renowned for its tequila production. This method reflects nearly two decades of direct collaboration with local farmers. With USDA and Mexican organic certifications, along with adherence to NOM standards, Tres Agaves has quickly become a staple in bars across America. Its UK and Ireland launch introduces this premium offering to European bartenders and retailers for the first time.
Thomas Vogele, International Sales Vice President at Trinchero Family Wine Spirits, emphasizes the significance of this growth. He states, "Tequila is one of the fastest-growing spirits categories in Europe, and bartenders are on the lookout for brands with authentic origin." Tres Agaves provides professionals with organic, single-source tequila at a more accessible price point, aiming to appeal not just to high-end markets but also to a broader spectrum of consumers.
The European tequila market is projected to reach revenues of $2.49 billion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.6% between 2025 and 2030. Tres Agaves itself has seen a remarkable increase in exports, with a 769% growth since the beginning of the year. In the US, the brand was recently recognized on Shanken's 'Impact 2026 Hot Prospects' list, highlighting its status as one of the fastest-growing spirit brands in the country.
With this momentum, Tres Agaves is thrilled to offer its organic tequila range to bartenders and consumers in the UK and Ireland, enhancing the variety of quality spirits available in this burgeoning category.
