Weekend Adventure: Western Horse Riding and Skiing Camp
This winter, prepare for an exciting weekend filled with adventure as the Plus One Education Company, a subsidiary of Riso Education Group, invites kids to a unique camp experience. Scheduled from January 31 to February 1, 2026, this program combines two exciting activities: Western horse riding and skiing, set amid the stunning natural landscape of Yatsugatake in Kobuchizawa.
Why You Should Attend
1. A Special Collaboration of Long-Running Programs
For over 20 years, the
Western Horse Riding Experience School and the popular
STS Ski School have been providing memorable experiences to children. This collaboration allows participants to enjoy horse riding and skiing in a breathtaking location overlooking the Yatsugatake and Southern Alps, surrounded by pristine nature.
2. Get Comfortable on Horseback with Expert Guidance
At the
Artemis Riding Club, children will learn Western-style horseback riding with gentle horses. Each beginner will be paired with an instructor for one-on-one support, ensuring a safe and enjoyable first riding experience. Besides riding, kids will also participate in caring for the horses through activities like cleaning stalls and grooming, deepening their connection with these magnificent animals.
3. Skiing for All Skill Levels at Fujimi Kogen Ski Resort
On the second day, participants will head to
Fujimi Kogen Ski Resort for tailored skiing lessons with qualified instructors. This skier-only resort boasts safe trails and gentle slopes perfect for beginners while also offering challenging runs for experienced skiers, ensuring a fulfilling experience for all skill levels. Children will gain a sense of achievement as they navigate the slopes, no matter their starting point.
