Pushing the Limits: Elitewheels & evolve Power UCI Pro Team in 2026

As the 2026 cycling season draws near, the world of professional cycling is entering an exciting new phase of global collaboration and technological innovation. Elitewheels, partnered with its sister brand evolve, is renewing its commitment to the UCI Pro Team Solution Tech - NIPPO - Rali. The two brands aim to elevate performance, push technological boundaries, and gain international recognition in a highly competitive sport.

A Promising Future

Building on a successful first year in 2025, Elitewheels is continuing its sponsorship with the team, which has aspirations of achieving significant success in Grand Tour events. Equipped with Elitewheels' cutting-edge products, including the renowned CIMA performance frame, co-branded with the Panamanian distributor Rali, the team is set for another ambitious season. The previous year demonstrated the competitive prowess fostered by this partnership, with the team clinching podium finishes, stage victories, and overall wins at prominent events like the Tour de Slovenia and the Tour of Hainan.

Team director Serge has expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "Our first year with Elitewheels exceeded our expectations. The wheels instilled confidence in all conditions, from crosswinds to full-speed sprints." Sprinter Dušan Rajović, a seven-time champion, echoed Serge's sentiments, praising the rigidity and speed of the wheels.

Exceptional Equipment for 2026

As the 2026 season unfolds, the Team Solution Tech - NIPPO - Rali will compete on three elite models from Elitewheels. The Drive II is a versatile racing wheel optimized through CFD and wind tunnel testing at Silverstone, providing a significant 5-watt advantage over its predecessor. The Drive Helix CS offers exceptional crosswind stability and precise rigidity thanks to its innovative design. Lastly, the Drive TT, engineered specifically for time trials, boasts high-speed efficiency validated at Silverstone.

This curated selection of equipment showcases Elitewheels' commitment to refining engineering under real racing conditions. In addition to supporting the ProTeam, the partnership extends to the Toscana Factory Devo Team, the official development squad of Solution Tech - NIPPO - Rali. This ensures that young athletes benefit from the same high-performance equipment philosophy that the ProTeam enjoys.

Evolving Performance with the CIMA

Evolve is set to introduce its high-performance CIMA frame into the partnership for 2026. Constructed with TORAY T1100, T800, and M40 carbon, this frame weighs only 650g in its unpainted M size, harmonizing ultralight construction with racing-level rigidity. Wind tunnel tests at Silverstone indicated that the CIMA, when paired with KREUZA aerodynamic accessories, can save an average of 4.1 watts, translating to nearly 48 seconds over a 40 km course at 300 watts.

Founded by industry veterans and an ex-UCI professional racer, evolve champions a philosophy centered on rider performance and real-world results. Thus, the CIMA has quickly gained acclaim among professionals and enthusiasts alike, firmly establishing evolve as a serious competitor in the global cycling market.

Looking Forward

More than a mere sponsorship, this collaboration signifies a technological partnership. Engineers, riders, and mechanics are working in unison to refine aerodynamics, stiffness, and efficiency throughout the racing season. Together, they send a clear message: The performance standards in global cycling are evolving, with Chinese engineering now firmly embedded in the competitive peloton.
