EigenQ and WNC Join Forces to Innovate Quantum-Safe Technology at HPE Discover 2025

EigenQ and WNC Forge a Strategic Alliance

In a groundbreaking move, EigenQ Inc., renowned for being the first to deliver FIPS 203/204-certified post-quantum security systems, has partnered with WNC Corporation. This strategic collaboration aims to advance the production and market entry of quantum-safe hardware, including servers, appliances, and edge devices. The announcement was made during an exclusive event in Las Vegas, coinciding with HPE Discover 2025, a prime venue for enterprise and security innovations.

The partnership sets a significant milestone in the field of cybersecurity, particularly as the world braces for the advancing capabilities of quantum computing. As organizations prepare for the implications of quantum technology, the timing of this collaboration becomes vital for federal and enterprise customers looking for secure infrastructures today.

Key Aspects of the Collaboration

Under this collaboration, WNC will undertake key roles in contract-manufacturing and joint design efforts for EigenQ’s Post-Quantum Unit™ (PQU) hardware and Quantum Encryption Module™ (QEM) software. This collaboration will support the implementation of NSA CSfC-ready lattice-based encryption and authentication solutions that comply with the U.S. government's deadline for post-quantum cryptography due in 2027. This requirement was established by the Quantum Computing Cybersecurity Preparedness Act and the Presidential Executive Order issued in June 2025, emphasizing the urgency of quantum-safe technology deployment.

Dr. Jesse Van Griensven Thé, CEO of EigenQ, indicated that this partnership allows for scalability from initial pilot runs to mass production, which is essential for maintaining secure, U.S.-dominated supply chains. “This means that federal and enterprise customers can start deploying FIPS-certified quantum-proof infrastructures now, ensuring alignment with current regulations and addressing both present and future cyber threats,” stated Thé.

Meanwhile, Dr. Horen Chen, CTO of WNC, expressed excitement about their entry into the Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) domain. “By integrating EigenQ’s advanced quantum-encryption technology into our secure hardware solutions, we are proud to present the first NSA-compliant and NIST-certified quantum-safe systems for data centers,” said Chen. He emphasized WNC's capability to scale manufacturing to meet the increasing demand across various sectors including automotive, service providers, and IoT, thus addressing the heightened interest in future-proof, quantum-resistant, cryptographic devices.

Production and Market Plans

The collaboration entails turnkey production of EigenQ's secure-server modules within WNC's top-tier facilities, which adhere to stringent ISO standards (ISO-27001 and ISO-9001). Both organizations will work together to validate PQU-enabled Gen11 ProLiant servers specifically tailored for public-sector and defense workloads. In addition, they plan to jointly develop small-cell platforms equipped with embedded post-quantum encryption through Wi-Fi 7 and 5G technologies.

The go-to-market strategy focuses on meeting the deadlines imposed by U.S. federal agencies and critical-infrastructure operators engaged with the upcoming compliance milestones for FY-2027. Pilot units of the PQU Gen2 card are already being sent to select integrators, with mass production slated to commence in Q4 of 2025. These combined solutions will be floated as HPE-qualified server bundles by early 2026, showcasing the rapid advancements made through this alliance.
