From July 27 to August 2, 2026, the
National High School Comprehensive Athletic Championship Basketball Tournament took place in Osaka, showcasing remarkable performances from VITAS-supported schools. Notably, Fukuoka University’s Fukuoka Daitohri High School celebrated their fifth national championship title after a nine-year hiatus, while Sakura Gakuen High School proudly claimed the third place. In the men’s finals, Fukuoka Daitohri High School faced Hokuriku High School from Fukui Prefecture, securing a commanding 85-62 victory. This win not only marked their fifth Inter-High title since 2017 but also underscored their achievement of consecutive titles in both winter and summer tournaments.
