The Surgery Center of Rhode Island (SCRI) has achieved notable recognition for the third consecutive year as a Leapfrog "Top Ambulatory Surgery Center." This accolade, awarded to merely 37 centers across the nation in 2025, highlights SCRI's commitment to excellence in patient care and surgical excellence.
Leapfrog Group, an esteemed independent organization known for its rigorous evaluation of healthcare standards, assesses ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) based on national, evidence-based measures. The Top ASC designation is awarded to facilities that demonstrate exceptional clinical outcomes while adhering to best practices that prioritize patient safety. High performance in patient satisfaction metrics also plays a crucial role in this recognition.
Located in Warwick, Rhode Island, SCRI opened its doors in 2008 through a collaboration with Constitution Surgery Alliance (CSA) and a team of 35 specialized surgeons focusing on ear, nose, throat, and ophthalmology procedures. Over the years, SCRI has built a stellar reputation for providing world-class outpatient surgical care within a modern, fully-equipped environment.
