Comviva and Aduna Unveil Network Intelligence for Financial Services at Money20/20
Comviva and Aduna's Collaboration at Money20/20
In an exciting development at the Money20/20 event held from October 18 to 21, 2026, in Las Vegas, Comviva, a renowned provider of digital transformation solutions, alongside Aduna, a global aggregator of standardized network APIs, has announced a significant advancement in network intelligence tailored for the financial services sector. This partnership is set to address the increasingly complex challenges related to digital identity and fraud, issues that have become increasingly critical as digital transactions proliferate.
The collaboration aims to empower financial institutions to leverage network-based information for improving identity verification processes, detecting SIM swapping, optimizing fraud prevention measures, and facilitating smoother customer onboarding experiences. The unveiling of these technologies comes nearly a year after the strategic partnership announcement between Comviva and Aduna in November 2025. Their cooperative efforts follow a mutual goal of accelerating the deployment and monetization of network APIs via Comviva’s NGAGE platform.
The NGAGE platform provides a unified interface that allows companies to access various communication and network APIs easily. Aduna contributes by consolidating standardized network functionalities from its extensive global operator ecosystem. The platform has already been successfully deployed across more than 7,000 enterprises and supports over 40 implementations, more than 100 use cases across different industries, and boasts over 130 communication APIs and 25 network APIs, processing around 250 billion messages annually.
For banks and fintech companies, integrating network analysis presents an additional layer of information vital for customer verification and risk assessment. By utilizing features such as number verification and SIM swap detection, institutions can proactively identify potential fraud, enhance authentication procedures, and streamline customer onboarding and KYC processes.
Rajesh Chandiramani, CEO of Comviva, emphasized the evolving role of the NGAGE platform, stating, “Over the past year, NGAGE has become a unified and scalable access point for businesses wanting to integrate network intelligence into their digital transformation journeys. Financial services are naturally prioritized, as the impact can be directly measured by quicker onboarding, stronger fraud controls, and a reduced reliance on OTPs and other verification steps. Our partnership with Aduna, combined with Tech Mahindra's reach in the BFSI sector, enables us to make these capabilities accessible to financial institutions across diverse markets, helping them tackle these challenges comprehensively.”
Additionally, Peter Arbitter, Chief Commercial Officer of Aduna Global, remarked, “Standardization is critical for broadening the use of network APIs throughout the financial services sector. Aduna brings together CAMARA-standardized APIs from leading mobile operators, simplifying access to trusted network data across various operators and markets. Collaborating with Comviva and Tech Mahindra allows banks and fintechs to integrate these capabilities into their customer verification, fraud prevention, and onboarding processes, thereby enhancing security while mitigating customer burdens.”
The ongoing collaboration is poised to expand the application of network APIs within financial markets, shifting focus beyond just identity and fraud prevention to explore areas such as credit risk assessment, payment information, and other domains where real-time network insights can enhance secure, seamless digital experiences.
Furthermore, Comviva plans to showcase NGAGE, a modern Communication-Platform-as-a-Service driven by robust AI engines, during the Money20/20 USA event, in collaboration with its parent company, Tech Mahindra, at booth MC-7. Together, they will illustrate how technologies like AI, advanced analytics, network APIs, and digital platforms can assist financial institutions in fostering innovations, strengthening fraud prevention and identity verification processes, and ultimately delivering more seamless customer experiences.
