Ski-Doo's Snow PASS Program
In a significant move to support winter sports, Ski-Doo, a celebrated brand under BRP Inc., has announced the recipients of the Ski-Doo Snow PASS grants for 2026. This program aims to provide crucial funding to grassroots organizations dedicated to maintaining and improving snowmobiling trails across North America. Over 50 clubs are set to receive up to $5,000 each to enhance winter access and trail conditions, showcasing Ski-Doo's commitment to the snowmobiling community.
The announcements were made on September 12, 2026, during the annual Hay Days event, a gathering celebrated by winter sports enthusiasts. The Ski-Doo Snow PASS program has successfully contributed more than CAD $1.5 million to a multitude of community-led projects since its inception, demonstrating a long-term dedication to the preservation and enjoyment of snowmobiling trails.
The grants earmarked this year focus on vital projects, including trail infrastructure, preservation of access routes, bridge repairs, and improved signage. Additionally, the program emphasizes volunteer recruitment and the introduction of newcomers to snowmobiling, which is essential for the sport's growth and sustainability.
David Baker, the Vice President and General Manager of Powersports for North America at BRP, praised the hard work of volunteers and clubs, stating, "Snowmobiling simply wouldn't exist without the incredible work of clubs and volunteers. From maintaining trails and preserving access to welcoming new riders into the sport, these organizations are the backbone of the riding experience. Together with our dealer network, we're proud to support the people who dedicate countless hours to keep snowmobiling thriving."
The initiative aligns with Ski-Doo's broader objectives to promote responsible riding and ensure continued access to recreational areas, supporting the ethos of the Responsible Rider initiative launched by BRP.
In gratitude, the Ski-Doo team acknowledged the unwavering efforts of club members, groomer operators, trail workers, and landowner liaisons. They emphasized the importance of these individuals in maintaining safe, accessible, and enjoyable trails, thereby creating a fulfilling experience for riders every winter season.
