The renowned plant brand MOLLIS, founded by KINTO Co., Ltd. in Hikone, Shiga, is excited to announce the upcoming MOLLIS EXHIBIT 2026. This exceptional event will take place at two prime locations: KINTO FARM in Hikone, Shiga, and KINTO STORE Tokyo in Nakameguro. One highlight of this year’s exhibit is the grand opening of MOLLIS' own farm to the public, making it a rare opportunity for plant enthusiasts.

Theme: "Embracing Gestures, Enjoying Change"

The central theme for this exhibition is “Embracing Gestures, Enjoying Change.” The exhibit seeks to celebrate the subtle changes that plants undergo during different growth stages and as seasons shift. These transformations, referred to as 'gestures', communicate a form of dialogue between plants and their caretakers. By tuning into these whispers, we can foster their healthy growth while simultaneously gaining rich insights into our lives.

Visitors can expect to witness the enchanting moment when a plant blossoms, observe its robust transition into wood for defense, or marvel at its growth following grafting techniques, creating a beautifully diverse showcase of plant gestures.

Special Events

MOLLIS Open Days @ KINTO FARM, Hikone

One of the major attractions will be the MOLLIS Open Days, where the farm's plants will be open for public viewing. Participants will have the chance to engage with skilled staff while touring the greenhouse, and they can also take part in a hands-on grafting workshop focusing on cacti. Unique plant specimens available for sale will include those grown exclusively for this event.

• - Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• - Venue: KINTO FARM
• - Address: 985-2 Higashinuma, Hikone, Shiga, 522-0027
• - Access: A 20-minute walk from Minami Hikone Station on the JR Biwako Line or a 10-minute walk from Hikoneguchi Station on the Omi Railway.
• - Parking: Available for eight cars.
• - Offers: Farm tour, plant exhibition and sales, cactus grafting workshop, and herbal tea tasting grown at KINTO FARM.

Please note that cash and transportation IC payments will not be accepted on-site.

Cactus Grafting Workshop (Reservation Required)

• - Schedule: Three sessions each day

1. 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (60 mins)
2. 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (60 mins)
3. 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM (60 mins)

• - Capacity: 4 participants per session (Participants must be 12 years or older)
• - Fee: 3,300 JPY (tax included, including a 4-inch potted graft)
• - Content: Hands-on grafting experience and care instructions for the grafted plants (participants can take home their grafted plants).
• - Reservation Start: June 5 (Fri) from 12:00 PM
• - Reservation Deadline: June 22 (Mon) by 12:00 PM

MOLLIS Showcase @ KINTO STORE Tokyo

Following the farm event, the MOLLIS Showcase at KINTO STORE Tokyo will feature advance sales and exclusive event offerings of plants. The showcase will present a broader range of MOLLIS plants, thanks to the artistic spatial design by Kohei Oda from Kusamura, enhancing the aesthetic experience of MOLLIS.

• - Content: Plant display and sales, spatial design by Kohei Oda.
