Furniture China 2025 Sets New Records

The 30th edition of Furniture China, organized by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, concluded successfully this September, highlighting significant milestones in global design, innovation, and trade under the theme "BEYOND NEXT." The event ran concurrently with Maison Shanghai, marking a remarkable gathering for the furniture and lifestyle industries.

Record Participation and Global Reach

This year’s exhibition witnessed a record-breaking attendance of 163,527 visitors over five days, originating from an impressive 174 countries and regions. The number of international visitors reached 32,618, reflecting a 13.9% increase from the previous year. This surge illustrates the growing global recognition of the event and its importance in the furniture industry.

Redefining the Global Stage for Furniture and Lifestyle

With an expansive exhibition area of 350,000 square meters featuring over 3,200 exhibitors, Furniture China presented a diverse range of offerings from finished furniture to raw materials and intelligent manufacturing solutions. Key highlights included a dedicated pavilion for outdoor and garden furniture, and FMC China Premium, emphasizing sustainable, high-quality production across the industry. Furniture China and Maison Shanghai have solidified their position as a premier global hub for the furniture and lifestyle sectors.

Maison Shanghai showcased over 800 design-oriented brands across four thematic areas that inspire creativity and lifestyle innovations. The H3 Design Highland Pavilion stood out, captivating the attention of industry leaders, media, and buyers, thus raising the bar for design-focused exhibitions.

In conjunction with their growth, Maison Shanghai attracted 47,077 visitors, a 55.6% increase from the last edition, showcasing the event's expanding international appeal. Overseas visitor numbers surged by an astonishing 123% compared to the prior year. The exhibition also served as a platform for lifestyle design and cultural creativity, featuring over 100 forums and events to promote innovation, heritage, sustainability, and East-West exchange, including the Gold Idea Design Award and CREDAWARD.

Expanding Connections Beyond the Exhibition Space

The exhibitions integrated digital elements through the DTS FurnitureChina App, which enables continuous business opportunities year-round via AI matchmaking, exhibitor catalogs, and seamless connections between participants.

Looking Ahead

The organizers extend their gratitude to all exhibitors, partners, and visitors for making the 30th anniversary of Furniture China a resounding success. They look forward to welcoming the global furniture and design community back to Shanghai Pudong in 2026.
