Transition in Leadership Roles
Dhanashree Bhat, who has served as the Chief Operating Officer, is set to leave her position effective August 11, 2025, to explore new career avenues. Persistent Systems appreciates her significant contributions to the company’s success during her tenure. Stepping into her role will be Jaideep Dhok, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI). Starting August 12, 2025, Dhok will take on the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer - Technology.
Dhok’s deep expertise, amassed over 23 years in the technology sector, positions him as an ideal leader for this critical role. With over 14 years at Persistent, he has demonstrated his ability to drive substantial transformation initiatives, build new business lines, and elevate the company's presence in the BFSI vertical. Dhok’s past contributions have included leading significant projects and spearheading the company's strategy for Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the Asia-Pacific region.
In his new capacity, Dhok will also oversee Delivery Excellence, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, along with managing Alliances and Partnerships. This multifaceted role aims to strengthen the framework within which Persistent operates, ensuring it continues to innovate and deliver superior solutions.
