Kawai Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. has announced the upcoming launch of its new educational initiative, SDGs Radio, aimed at children, students, and learners across Japan. This innovative platform will commence content distribution on June 19, 2026, in partnership with Keshion Co., based in Osaka.

What is SDGs Radio?



SDGs Radio is designed to provide a series of audio content pieces focusing on corporate sustainability efforts. Each segment, lasting one minute, is tailored to inform and educate students about various initiatives related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The content will be accessible free of charge to educational institutions and school officials throughout the country; starting from January 2024, approximately 6,000 schools will benefit from this initiative.

The initiative aims to enhance learning atmospheres by being integrated into various educational practices. Teachers can utilize SDGs Radio for morning broadcasts, during break times, or even as part of exploratory studies, ensuring that valuable lessons on sustainability reach a wider audience.
