A Fresh Approach with the Exhibition Project

A significant addition to the event this year is the introduction of a new submission project called Vocaloid Collection Exhibition. This initiative is designed for those who wish to participate in a more relaxed manner, without the pressure of rankings.
Unlike previous years, where creators competed for rankings based on their submissions, this new exhibition allows for free expression without competing for playback numbers or favorites. The submission period starts on August 21, 2025 and ends on August 25, 2025.

Submission Details:

- Create original music primarily using VOCALOID or other voice synthesis software.
- Submit your work to Niconico Video during the designated period, tagging it with #VocaloidCollection2025summerex to ensure it is featured in the related live broadcasts.

Competitive Spirit: The VOCALOID Collection Rankings

Returning for its fifth iteration, the VOCALOID Collection Rankings will run alongside the exhibition. This year, it promises record participation, building on the approximately 7,400 entries from the previous winter event. The rankings will include three categories: TOP 100, focusing on original tracks; Rookie, highlighting emerging talent; and Remix, celebrating creative reimaginings of existing works.
