Robert Balzebre Unveils Solei Beach Club at Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel
Solei Beach Club: A New Oasis in South Beach
Recently, the vibrant atmosphere of South Beach welcomed a refreshing addition to its landscape: Solei Beach Club. Situated at the renowned Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel, this 11,500-square-foot oceanfront day club invites both locals and visitors to indulge in a taste of coastal Spain combined with the laid-back energy of Miami.
Solei Beach Club opens its doors daily, serving approximately 75 guests in an ambiance designed for relaxation and enjoyment. Gone are the traditional pool-and-beach amenities; instead, the area has been transformed into a Mediterranean haven featuring comfortable lounge seating, shaded palapas, and private cabanas.
Design Inspired by Coastal Spain
Embodying the essence of coastal Spain, Solei Beach Club is an exquisite reflection of elegance and comfort. The revamped space is not just an improvement on aesthetics; it marks a significant shift in the hotel's approach to utilizing outdoor areas. Hotelier Robert Balzebre of Chisholm Properties South Beach spearheaded this transformation after acquiring the historic Art Deco hotel and rebranding it as Kimpton in 2011.
The day club's design makes a statement, invoking the spirit of the Spanish Riviera combined with the sights and sounds of the Miami coastline. Guests will find themselves lounging under a thatched palapa while enjoying picturesque views of the ocean, making it a perfect spot for those looking to soak up the sun in style.
