Ranking Methodology

In collaboration with Plant-A Insights Group, Newsweek evaluated more than 16,000 SEC-registered financial advisory firms nationwide. The assessment criteria included asset performance, retention rates, advisor qualifications, service breadth, and clarity regarding potential conflicts of interest. Eligibility was based on having a minimum of $20 million in assets under management, at least three advisors on staff, a minimum of five individual clients, and a certificate of SEC registration spanning at least two years.
