Perfect Point EDM to Present Innovative Fastener Solutions at MRO Americas 2026

Perfect Point EDM to Showcase Advanced Fastener Removal Technology at MRO Americas 2026

Perfect Point EDM, a prominent name in precision fastener removal solutions designed specifically for the aerospace industry, has declared its participation in the much-anticipated MRO Americas 2026 event. Scheduled for April 21-23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Huntington Beach, California, the event promises to be an excellent platform for industry professionals. Visitors are encouraged to stop by Booth #2809 to witness live demonstrations of the revolutionary E-Drill system.

The MRO Americas event is one of the largest assemblies of the aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) community, a significant gathering of airlines, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, MRO providers, and technicians from around the globe. At this event, Perfect Point EDM will perform an estimated 100 to 150 demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities of the E-Drill technology in real-world scenarios. Guests can expect to see the E-Drill effectively removing titanium fasteners from various representative aircraft structures, underscoring its precision and efficiency in aerospace maintenance operations.

In addition to exhibiting their E-Drill system, Perfect Point EDM is excited to reveal its additional products, including the S-Blaster and Vac-Exact systems, thereby providing a comprehensive view of its advanced solutions for aerospace maintenance.

Beyond its demonstrations, Perfect Point EDM will also contribute significantly to the Aerospace Maintenance Council Competition, which takes place concurrently during the MRO Americas event on April 21-22. This competition is expected to draw around 90 teams and over 450 competitors from various sectors of the aerospace industry, including commercial airline technicians, military maintainers, manufacturers, and aviation students.

Jim Becker, CEO of Perfect Point, expressed the importance of their participation, stating, "Our involvement in the Aerospace Maintenance Council Competition goes beyond showcasing our technology. It's about supporting the people who make aviation possible—the engineers and Maintenance Technicians that are contributing hard labor towards the industry's future."

The competition entails hands-on activities designed to challenge participants in real-world maintenance challenges, testing their technical skills, safety adherence, efficiency, and accuracy. A key highlight of the event will be the E-Drill Fastener Removal Event (Event #24), where competitors will have the opportunity to utilize E-Drill technology to remove titanium fasteners within a timed and judged environment. The event will be overseen by Perfect Point's judges, Jim Becker and Nils Besvold.

Perfect Point EDM firmly believes in the value of supporting the next generation of aerospace technicians and engineers. Their participation in the competition aims to bridge the gap between academic training and real-world application, fostering professional development and cooperation among participants. By emphasizing the crucial role of maintenance technicians in maintaining aviation safety and reliability, Perfect Point aims to contribute positively to the industry's future.

Founded in 2005, Perfect Point EDM has consistently innovated in fastener removal technology, delivering precision-engineered solutions that reshape aerospace maintenance operations. The company's flagship E-Drill system is endorsed by top aerospace and defense organizations globally, facilitating the acceleration of maintenance timelines, minimizing aircraft downtime, and enhancing safety for professionals involved in maintenance.

By eliminating the inefficiencies typical of traditional fastener removal methods, Perfect Point EDM sets new standards in structural maintenance while also focusing on continuous support for maintenance professionals’ education and development.
